UG Programme: MBBS (4½ Years + 1 Year CRMI)

Eligibility Criteria
  • To be eligible for admission to the MBBS Degree Course, a candidate must have passed 10+2 / H.Sc. (or its equivalent examination) with subjects in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually.
  • Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology at the qualifying examination and must be included in the merit list of NEET-UG for admission to the MBBS Degree Course.

  • For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology taken together in the qualifying examination must be at least 40% instead of 50%.

  • For candidates with PWD (Persons with Disabilities), the minimum marks shall be 45% for the general category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC category.

  • To be eligible for admission to the MBBS Degree Course for a particular academic year, candidates must obtain a minimum of the 50th percentile in NEET UG. However, for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories, the minimum marks must be the 40th percentile. For PWD candidates, the minimum marks shall be the 45th percentile for the general category and the 40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC categories.

  • Candidates must be at least 17 years old on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

PG Programme: MD | MS (3 Years)

Eligibility Criteria
  • A pass in the MBBS Degree Course or an equivalent qualification.
  • Candidates should have obtained a minimum eligibility percentile in NEET-PG.

Admission Procedure

Admissions to the UG & PG Degree programmes  conducted through online counseling by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi.

 The admission process will be based on the marks obtained in the NEET Examinations and the eligibility criteria prescribed by the NMC regulations, in accordance with the guidelines and directions issued by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, Government of India, National Medical Commission, New Delhi, and VMRF-DU from time to time.
